Autograph letter signed by Isaac de Pinto to Monsieur le Chevalier : The Hague, 5 August 1768.

In a plea for free trade in India, Pinto states that his Directors have instructed him to begin negotations with the British and Dutch East India Companies with a goal toward letting "the European Companies enjoy their respective proportions of the Bengal Trade."
